And just as an aside, does anyone else think that it's pretty damn slack the the Heritage Hanmer Springs doesn't do room service breakfasts?
Really? That's quite odd. Must admit though when I stayed there it was during a Sales Conference and we all ate in the restaurant anyway. All hotels should have room service though - I hope you wrote them a note saying how disappointed you were with that. My favourite hotel in Queenstown is the Novotel St Moritz Suites - I think they may have changed their name to something else now, but it has one of the best views of the area. Millennium is okay but you don't get a view and some of the rooms look into each other. Heritage Queenstown is really nice but is quite far out of town.

Have you been to Queenstown before? I thoroughly recommend doing the Queenstown Wine Trail. I used to host clients in Queenstown about 4 times year.
