Its a shame that they let everyone have guns that they want, and to use them. I think it just sends a message to all the young people "to solve your differences use violence" but then again, I think that message is given by your government and their wars.
I don't really know if guns are required etc, becuase from what I understand the environment/culture in
NZ doesn't compare at all to that of the US. I know if I was put in the situation of having to use a gun, I would be worse off than not having one. They make me uncomfortable.
