Here's another one.
When I worked for Ansett
NZ and we were changing our name to Qantas
NZ we had to go through all these touchy feely seminar/workshop type things. They mixed us all up, so the group I was in had Flight Attendants, Baggage Handlers, CSR's etc. I didn't know many of them.
Well, you had to introduce yourself, say what department you were in and then say something that other people had to guess whether it was true or false.
I thought for a while and then when it was my turn I stood up and said "Hi, I'm Christy, I work in Sales and I have a shaved cat".
There was stunned silence ....
One of the baggage handlers replied "Can I see it?".
The room erupted with laughter and from then on whenever any of the people in my group saw me they would laugh.
Ultra embarrassing.
