Default Hi from Oregon
I'm Myles and I live in the woods outside of Eugene, Oregon. My wife and I plan to retire in a couple of years and the Bay of Islands is one of the top spots we are considering. Ideally I would like to build a couple of boats and spend a lot of time on the water. I've built a few Bolger designs and I'm ready for something more difficult. I'm currently looking at John Welsford's 6 meter whaler. I don't have a lot of blue water experience, mostly bays and lakes in boats under 7 meters. I'd to hearing from Kiwis with similar interests or anyone with URLs about living along the Bay of Islands.
