Did you notice that a few of the links on that page are for New Zealand web sites like television channels (TVNZ, TV2 & TV3), newspapers (Herald, Christchruch Press, Otago Daily Times), local bodies (Waitakere City Council) and all sorts of others?
My point / angle on that site is that there is currently a lot of immigration into
NZ at the moment where the people choose not to even try to fit in with the customs and culture. We have pockets in the cities where if you are a native kiwi you can't easily make yourself to the dairy / corner store owner to ask where the milk is or something.
Imagine going to France and trying to drive on the left hand side of the road and only speaking english.... it would be a nightmare and cause huge problems... now imagine the French Government allowing foreigners to immigrate there and not make any attempt to fit in to the existing culture... argh
