The government is a bit pansy-arsed (in my opinion) and tend to bow to some of the minority groups in NZ, which is fine if you're a foreigner coz you won't be bothered by it.

There aren't too many biting insects that will harm you, just annoy you, we do have mozzies and flies and fleas and other nasties but they're not going to kill you, unlike many biting nasties in Australia for instance.

We have MAJOR traffic issues in Auckland city and our public transport is pretty much non existent. We do have busses and trains but neither are overly reliable.

House prices all over the country are pretty horrendous if you want to live in city centres.

Apart from that this country is pretty gosh-darned wonderful
