Default Re: Osama's Letter to Bush

Thanks for the timely advice on jokes and jocularity... I do want to find it, just having a hard time here! I laughed so hard at British Airways jokes on my earphones during a recent flight out from " between the rock ( earthquake) and a hard place
(getting heard- as one educated and trained up in NZ!)" that the conservative EU bloke behind me took exception and told me off! Later he moderated his annoyance to this comment" You must be a very jolly lady"! Believe me.. I do like/want/try to be one!
I just have a hard time getting a laugh off the killing fields, the destruction of property and future generations inheritance! But if you choose to view such situations as a means to a goofy joke- I can also have a laugh about that!
Personally I prefer poignant, double entendre, " telling" jokes!
So I'll make a feeble effort to reach my own standards-
Israel believes in One, Christians believe in One plus One- and a Holy disembodied ghost! Moslems are supposed to believe in One-plus one- plus one (the ghost of things to come) as a real influential personality/dynamo for change.. making even women's share of " the inheritance"- children and minorities, the poor and the weak and the environment, "real"! But for those who get serious about all this, the jokes on them! Ashes to ashes and dust to dust- the ghost wins hands-on, everything into it's over-powering clutches, every time! Yeow... the ghost is real! And it's an invisible, elusive blood-sucking vampire with a bomb in it's hat! Sorry... pretty feeble as well, right? Lynley.
