 Kiwi who has moved to holland in the last week
I have just moved to be with my partner over in holland,Groningen which is 2 hours north of Amsterdam.I had a white xmas for the first time and I was over here for new years where they love to light lots of fireworks everywhere which was great for me as I love fireworks.Just getting accustomed to the food,climate,culture etc....Got a flu after a few days of being here but have shaken it.the jet lag was heinous.Looking at opening a web site soon with my partner so people can visit and catch up with what we are doing,where we have been since we have been together for the last 3 years and what future travelling we will be doing as we are wanting to buy cycle touring gear and travel around europe and other countries once we have sorted out work for me as a chef and have saved some money and then we will be figuring out where we want to live permanently.I look forward to hearing from anyone out there in the land of the long white cloud.I am looking to buy a lot of kiwiana and native furniture down the track if anyone knows of any good deals or websites,also if they know anyone that is interested in maybe seeing if there is a market over here in europe for kiwi furniture or carvings etc... as everything kiwi is taking off around the world at the moment with so many good things creative like are being seen.Will try to suss out how to use this site a bit more before I can really use it properly I think.Yours from the other side of the globe,Mason La Trobe.AKA Playingmantis |
