 Why taking new shortcuts thru the carpark in the dark is hazardous...
On my way across the carpark to the temporary place I was assigned whilst waiting for my real one, I decided 'Taking a shortcut thru that loose hedge would be a great idea."
Because it was 6PM, it was quite dark. I failed to notice that the thing pressing against my leg was a wire until it was slicing up my shin and I was sprawling towards the concrete.
Fortunately my left knee absorbed most of my body weight on impact. Ow. |
