 Dangerous Lead Levels in Petone Exide Plant
Did anyone see this on the news?
Seems that the Exide plant in Petone, Wellington, is giving the local residents a bit of a dusting.
A test carried out on the building next door revealed the lead levels were 28 times the reccomended levels, as per the World Health Organisation.
The local residents received a letter last month telling them that the levels posed a risk to people, especially children.
