I don't think it's necessary.
We're supposed to be New Zealanders. My Grandmother is 93 years old and was born in the house she lives in now. All her siblings were born there too. My great great grandfather came over to
NZ on a boat in the 1800s.
I'm getting sick of this country segregating itself between the nationalities. I don't know why the maori keep wanting to put themselves up on pedestals and act all precious about their heritage. I feel the same way about
NZ as they do.
