Personally...I am 'ready' for one, but I would be VERY surprised if they manage to get a seat at the next election.

Traditionally the Maori vote goes to Labour, and that isn't likely to change in any noticable degree. John Tamihere knew that, and that (in my mind anyway) is the reason he knew he could get away with turning up to the conference and apologising, even though Helen had told him not to.

Personally, I couldn't bring myself to cast a vote in favour of Tariana Turia. Or that freaky guy who is the Male head of the Maori Party.
