And it isn't like the childcare can charge any less when in the news yesterday (or was it the day before?) some are having to keep the kids inside on sunny days because they can't provide adequate protection from sunburn as the childcare centre isn't able to put up a shade sail as the cost for the consents (Resource Management Act and building permit) are too high.

I dont think I have come across any situation as frustrating as this, I mean its not winz"s fault the childcare centres don't open long enough, they did refer me to barnadoes which I did consider but I dont like the idea of it being 1:4 ratio it is the same in preschool but the thing I like about the preschool is there is more than 1 carer and the place is open. With barnardoes you dont know who they have comin and going during the day.
