Tim and Neil Finn made a sizable impact on the pop and rock music of the ‘80s and ‘90s as both songwriters and performers for Split Enz and Crowded House — particularly the Crowded House releases Woodface and Together Alone. But they made a major stylistic change for the compositions on their most recent release Everyone Is Here (Nettwerk), and fans coming to their Saturday night date at the Mercy Lounge may be surprised at their current approach.
