In tonights 'latest' episode of the Simpsons we have Homer ending up having his jaw wired shut (
notes here or
quotes here).
At the beginning of this episode we have the family watching a passing gay pride parade which included a float called "Stayin' In The Closet" and
two voices can be heard from it.
One of them is clearly the Malibu Stacy collector Waylon Smithers and the other is one of Marge's sisters. Given that Selma has been involved with Barney, Troy McClure & Principal Skinner there is a 99.9% probability that it is Patty especially when Julie Kavner has been quoted as saying that "Patty has a lower voice with a hint of lesbianism".
However the interesting twist in this episode was during the Annual Springfield Ball
Dr. Hibbert makes a comment in passing to Reverend Lovejoy about pec implants.
Normally this probably wouldn't mean anything but there were several comments about pecs and
six pack chests during the gay pride parade.
Could this be a subtile hint that the Reverend isn't all he seems to be?
