You mean that TV is not portraying what actually happens in the real world?

Sure it is nice to have all the fancy toys shown on TV to service justice but we have to be realistic about what can be afforded (both in the USA and here). Hell, it is hard enough to get enough police on the street here let alone call centre staff that don't make bad decisions based on lack of front line staff.

As for hospitals, next people will be expecting to get well in them or have multi-million dollar bionic legs fitted because they saw it on TV or they read about it so it must be true and available.

Reality calling, anybody there?
