The 'CSI Effect' on Jurors I freely admit that I am really really into the whole CSI series. The forensic science fascinates me.
It seems that the popularity of the series in the states has led to jurors expecting that the techniques and tools used on the show should be available to their own police forces.
In many cases, this is simpky not the case, due mainly to the cost. It is not possible to get a DNA test done in one day, nor toxicology reports or the other things that are done quickly on CSI. |
