Default re: Why don't we all goddamn push for this in NZ?

I remember one day..OH HAPPY DAY..paradise's speed cap broke. OH GLORIOUS DAY!

It was 'the internet the way it was meant to be'... I was getting something crazy like 500Mb a second downstream.

Now, apparently Whoosh is meant to be 'fast' .. but I can't seem to find out much on www.whoosh.co.nz ... here's what I get if I click Customer Support:

Very helpful. Ahh. "Up to 6 times the speed of standard dial-up" is what they offer - $39.95 for a gig a month, $54.95 for 10 gig a month.

Telescum's attitude towards rural net users sucks ass. Because they are bound by Kiwi Share, they have to provide free local calls to all NZers, but the farmers can go fuck themselves as far as it comes to 'The guy down the road has an electric fence that is causing interference with my internet. I cannot stay connected for more than 10 minutes on rainy days'.
