Yes he is just a kid doing kid stuff but I suppose the bit that has pissed the Brits off is that he shouldn't be seen to be joking about the Nazi thing especially when so many were killed.
I suppose it could have been worse and he wore some ripped rags and 'tattooed' a number on his arm and pretended to be a Jew going off to a gas chamber.
I have to wonder what his Great Grandmother (the Queen Mum) would have said if she was still alive, as she stayed in London through the war and saw the death and destruction first hand. Perhaps she would have given him a clip around the ear (or got someone to do it for her). |
