 Just one of the things you have to live with if you have a telephone
This is what I was told by a Telecom rep when I phoned to complain that a beeping thing was calling me every 5 minutes.
They advised that it was probably a modem phoning our number, thinking it was a server.
I advised that it was annoying.
They advised that it had to go on for 24 hours before they could do anything.
I calmly enquired: 'Every 5 minutes for 24 hours?!'
They advised that yes, this was indeed the case. |
