Guess who got an ear bashing at work today.
One of my many duties as a web developer is to take council press releases and post them on their site.
Some get home page prominence like one of today's.
The picture is of the Mayor bending over to lay a wreath.
The headline was supposed to be "Remembrance Day Service"
I typed "Remembrance Day Servics"
You can imagine what my boss heard when it was read back down the phone by an agitated media relations officer.
We had a good laugh about that one.
Shhh... Don't tell the Mayor. |
