SEO-wise, I have just (like 3 days ago) applied a hack that changes the URIs (yes, URi, not URL...but we can call them URLs I guess) to reflect the names of the forums they are going to, which should help matters.
The easiest way to refer someone whose email addy you have is to use the
Refer-A-Friend link at the bottom of every page.
