wish these boards would spark up a bit, don't make me go begging to webby to let me back at that "other place". begging is soooo not cool!
Whoooooooooooooooooooooo are you?

Who who....who who?

*insert organ solo here*

I am Kall. I am here because, well..without me, this place would not exist (or would, but would be controlled by someone else, and probably not be quite as cool. )

The original idea of this place (well, the Kallboards, anyway) was to provide a place for people to chat and meet and be entertained WITHOUT the over-censorship and allowing of wankers to run riot....and to let people post in colour and use pictures and stuff. My desire to do this was made stronger when I was temp banned for 2 weeks for figuring out how to post in colour and letting a few others know.

As Penny says, the 'other place' thing came about from back in the day...when there was a bit of bad feeling caused by people being threatened with banning over there for mentioning this place...and I had worries about 'spies' and lurkers watching threads.

There was originally a filter in place, to change NZD into 'the other place', but I reached the point quite a while ago where I don't really mind if people call it by its proper name.

I was originally known as Kallisti, which is a Greek word meaning 'for the one who is prettiest', and comes from the Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson. It was shortened to Kall at some point for some reason.
