I was watching the olympics yesterday and tuned in to watchthe Tall Blacks. I don't know an awful lot about basketball, but boy they almost beat Italy. I thought it was great. Apart from shooting like shit for the first half, and trailing by 17 points at half time, they came back to give themselves a real shot at getting it in the second half.
I was impressed that with 2.5 seconds to go they called a time out and the tatics they used to get the ball back were excellant, if that last shot had gone in we would have won it.
Good lick to the tall blacks for the rest of the competiton
p.s. on a slightly off topic note, we almost need a sub forum or something to discuss the Olympic games, theres already a few threads on it
or a sports forum.
