Re: Animal extremists face crackdown I find problems and in some places no problem with using animals.
Testing a new and very toxic chemical that may prolong life, may need cancer testing.
But what is this of using animals for all the cosmetics testing?
I was in an airport on Christmas eve 1990 and having a drink. Weather was bad, planes grounded. This guy next to me was grinning like a cheshire cat eating s***. So I ask,"You are awfully cheerful, why". People on either side of us perked up at the question.
So he replies that he has just sold 5,000 beagles to the medial schools of the University system in Pennsylvania.
Now that stopped conversation. If his current sales trend continued he would sell 25,000 a year.
I wonder how well planned the testing is if they need so many?
Another gross out is that public pet pounds kill thousands each year and puppy mills pump out live test units. Why the duality. |
