The TV ad that annoys me most at the moment is the Watties Potato Roaster ad. The one where the pregnant women wakes up and has "cravings" for some potato roasters. So the guy chucks about 10 of them in the oven dish and chucks them on. 25 minutes later they're ready and he chucks them on a plate with two lamb chops and some peas (where the hell did he get the chops & peas from) ... Oh, but also he only chucks on 4 roasters ... what happened to the others? Then he goes back to the bedroom, wifey is asleep so he starts tucking in, then she wakes up and says "where's mine" and I always yell "still in the oven .... he's only got 4 on his plate"
Do the advertising companies not think of such things when they're making their ad?
For some reason the ad just really gets up my nose.
My favourite ads at the moment are the Fresh & Fruity ads coz the yoghurt cartoon dudes are cute and the one for Inghams chicken where the woman cuts off her arm with the boys light saber. |
