Default Re: Whale Rider

I enjoyed the movie, I saw it in Perth with my Dad & Aunt, who miss NZ. My Dad spent quite a bit of time teaching around that area. They really liked it. I cried in her speech. I think it is definitley something the people who made it can be proud of.

We were watching it in an outdoor theatre which was really neat, by the river it was cool. It was funny becuase there are some jokes in there that if your not a NZer you wouldn't get and other things (Like the curtain tied in a knot etc) that they found funny, we were all laughing and all these aussies were looking at us like we were crazy!

Niki Coro is the directors name I think... it just came to me.
