why is life so short and always the good ones taken from us? is there a god?

Sounds like you lost someone close, if so I am sorry for you and yours. Doesn't matter what age, it's always too soon. Is there a God? Only you can answer that for yourself. I strongly believe in a God but I would never tell you to believe because I do. I believe we all have a purpose and when that purpose, whether to teach or learn or both, has come to pass, it's time for us to move on. We don't always understand why this is so at this time but usually we do eventually. Take care, Kristina
